The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, has expressed concern that the ongoing discussion regarding Nigerias proposed tax reform measures has become increasingly politicised. The lawmaker, who is representing the Benue-South in the 10th Senate,called for a more focused examination of the proposed legislation. Ex-Minister, Abba Moro emerges Senate Minority Leader

Senator representing Benue-South senatorial district, Abba Moro, yesterday, emerged as Senate Minority Leader. Moro, a two-term Senator on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), was nominated by the opposition party in the red Chamber, and was subsequently affirmed. He took over from Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon, representing Plateau-North senatorial district, who was removed by the Appeal Court.
