774,000 jobs: NDE commences partial payment to beneficiaries

The Nigeria Directorate Of Employments (NDE) has commenced partial payment to beneficiaries of its special public works (SPW) programme which accommodated 774,000 across the local governments. The SPW is a Federal Government initiative that kicked off in July 2020 to engage a total of 774,000 unemployed youths in a short-term employment programme across Nigeria.
