The Senate, yesterday, screened and confirmed all seven ministerial nominees by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The nominees for confirmation include Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, (Abia State); Umana Okon Umana, (Akwa Ibom); Ekumankama Joseph Nkama, (Ebonyi), and Goodluck Nanah Opiah, (Imo State).
Others include Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub, (Kano); Ademola Adewole Adegoroye, (Ondo), and Odum Udi, (Rivers).
The Senate went into the screening of the nominees after attending to Ekweremadus list as stated in the order paper of the day.
The nominees will be replacing Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onu, Godswill Akpabio and Emeka Nwajiuba who all resigned to pursue presidential bids.
