Sadiq Mamman Lagos has lost his daughter Khadija who was shot by bandits along Kaduna-Abuja highway to the cold hands of death in Cairo Egypt.
Khadija was said to have died after a successful surgery on her hand where she was shot. She was said to have relapsed to coma before her death in Cairo.
Mamman Lagos, the late daughter Khadija and his daughter were attacked by suspected kidnappers on 17 September, 2021 while driving to Kaduna from Abuja.
while he escaped unhurt by missing the bullets by whiskers, the late khadija and her sister in law got shot and were rushed to St. Gerald Hospital, Kakuri Kaduna where they were initially treated before Khadija was flown abroad for further treatment.
She was said to have been hit on her hand which badly affected a vein.
Sadiq Mamman Lagos was elected Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government in 1996 with controversy of his age taken a toll on his tenure.
