…Says Asiwaju risked his life fighting for democracy
Alhaji (Dr) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan, Deputy Director News TSG Independent Campaign Council (ICC), former Chairman Kaduna State APC Caucus, rejoices with Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
In an issued statement from London, Dr. Ramalan said, “His Excellency Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu fought tirelessly with other progressives and pro-democracy activists during the annulment of the June 12 struggle to end the military interregnum and enthrone democracy, which we all enjoy today.
He added that Tinubus emergence as President-elect was a reward for his hard work, commencing from the 2022 Presidential primaries at the party level to the final 2023 Presidential elections, amid internal and external hurdles and intrigues, which he eventually crossed and triumphed.
