Following flights to Paris, where he attended the Financial Pact Summit, and London, President Bola Tinubu has returned toNigeria, via Lagos, in time for the Eid-el Kabir, also known as Sallah, festivities.

The President’s return comes at a time of uncertainty regarding his ministerial list, which is nearly complete and is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly after Sallah.
According to insiders, Tinubu has personally selected a group of ministers heavily influenced by his close circle of Special Advisers.
A source in the presidency, who spoke with newsmen, said, I learned that Tinubus ministerial list is almost done. He kept a core of ministers to himself, heavily influenced by the kitchen cabinet of Special Advisers (SAs).
During his stay in Lagos, Tinubu is scheduled to participate in the Eid prayers at the Obalende Muslim prayer ground, located within Dodan Barracks, the former seat of the Nigerian government.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu yesterday evening urged Nigerians to to show compassion to each other ahead of the Sallah celebrations.
I join Muslims in Nigeria and all over the world in observance of Eid-el-Kabir. We must thank Almighty Allah for the grace to witness another Eid, Tinubu said.
He said that the best way by which Nigerians can demonstrate this example is in how the citizens conduct themselves in relation to their fellow citizens and in our duties to our beloved country.
He urged Nigerians to imbibe and manifest those values inherent in Prophets life, complete devotion to Allah, tolerance, patience, perseverance, selflessness, love and compassion.
Tinubu also admitted that at the moment, our country is going through some challenges especially with our struggling economy and simmering security challenges, but urged Nigerians to face the future with vigour and renewed hope with the confidence that our tomorrow shall be better and brighter.
The President also wished all Nigerians a happy Sallah celebration.
Although the Sallah holiday officially extends until tomorrow, Thursday, there are indications that the President might extend his stay in Lagos until Sunday or Monday of the following week before returning to Abuja.
