The Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association, (NBMOA), has welcomed the news of the appointment of Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as the Special Adviser to Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that the announcement of Dr. Hakeem’s appointment as the Special Adviser on Political Matters in the office of the Vice-President, was made yesterday.
Chairman of NBMOA’s Board of Trustees, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan, in a congratulatory message issued via a press statement yesterday, extended warm congratulations to Dr. Baba-Ahmed on his new role.
The association said his appointment is a testament to his dedication to public service and his commitment to the betterment of Nigeria, adding that it marks a noteworthy addition to the political landscape of the country and a significant development for Nigeria. NBMOA expressed its pride in having him as a member and wished him the best in his service to the nation.

Similarly, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has congratulated Dr. Baba -Ahmed on his appointment. In a statement on Tuesday issued by its Director-General, Prof. Doknan Sheni, the Forum welcomed the development and congratulated Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed on his appointment.
According to the statement, “The Forum sees this appointment as a signal of the willingness of the administration of President Tinubu to tap into competences and experiences of Nigerians which abound all over the country”.
The Forum expressed its hope that the Presidency will fully utilise the extensive experiences of Dr. Baba-Ahmed in administration and governance for the betterment of the country.
Recall that until his appointment, Dr. Baba-Ahmed was the Director of Publicity and Advocacy of the NEF.
