President Muhammadu Buhari has said that despite some governors naming key projects after him in their states, he has earlier warned them not to do so.
The President, who disclosed this yesterday during a live broadcast during a television programme in Kogi State, after commissioning some projects in the State.
President Buhari jokingly said that the Kogi State governor was one of the few governors that disobeyed his earlier instruction on project commissioning.
He said: I thank the Governor and the people of Kogi state for naming it (Muhammadu Buhari Square and Civic Centre) after me. Here, I have to digress; I attempted to stop governors and ministers from naming projects after me, but the Governor disobeyed me here.
