The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday described Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Nigerias number one public enemy over his insistence that the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN) must not extend the February 10 deadline for withdrawal of old notes.

In an issued statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, the APC described Atiku as a hypocrite, who kept quiet thinking he could benefit from the situation.
It said while Atiku colluded with those responsible for the crisis thinking he will be a major beneficiary, its presidential candidate, Aswj Bola Tinubu took sides with the suffering masses and courageously spoke out in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital about the hardship being experienced as a result of the Naira redesign.
