Adeyanju further explained that the Police also recovered tractors, hand-tractor hoes, 28 hand-tractors, tricycles, vehicles and other farm tools. According to the CP, the arrested suspects were responsible for the unprecedented vandalisation and theft of public and private properties across the state.
Meanwhile, the state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has signed an Executive Order authorizing a house-to-house search for items looted in Government-owned and private storage facilities.
The Governor, according to a press statement issued by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, had taken note of the compliance with earlier directive for looters to return all they looted and vandalized in storage facilities, public and private offices and thereby graciously extended the period of the search by another twelve (12) hours, which came into effect at 3:00pm yesterday.
