The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the pending bye elections for December 5.
According to a statement it issued yesterday, INEC’s National Commissioner & Chairman, Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye, the Commission said that based on consultations with stakeholders in the eleven states where the elections will take place, it believes that security in the affected States has improved, “consequently, the Commission has decided to hold all the pending bye-elections on Saturday December 5, 2020.”
