The All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has given approval for the Tinubu/ Shettima Presidential Campaign rally scheduled for today, January 17, 2023, in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Recall that it had earlier reported that the party initially postponed the event due to President Buharis absence. However, in a new swift, the Presidential Campaign Council has given a go-ahead for the rally to hold as scheduled at 10 am today, following reports that majority of APC members and supporters across the country have arrived in the State capital.
An issued statement by the Chairman, Local Organising Committee (LOC) Media Committee Sa’adu Salau yesterday evening gave the disclosure. While commending all APC members and supporters for their total loyalty and commitment for staying back in Ilorin for further clarification, the Council assured them that all PCC members and other leaders of the party slated to attend the rally are on their way to the State capital for the rally as scheduled.
The LOC also assured all APC members and Supporters that all arrangements are intact to have a successful rally. The Committee urged those on their way to Ilorin to continue their full participation in the rally.
The party wished all members across the country a safe journey and a successful rally in Ilorin.
