The Kano State Tourism Board, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials, has closed down a popular shisha spot known as ARFAT.

According to the Board’s Chairman, Tukur Bala Sagagi, the move is part of the state government’s efforts to curb drug abuse and related social vices across Kano.
He further noted that a law banning shisha smoking is already in place in the state, adding that the government is committed to ensuring full enforcement.
