Kano has stated that no property should be sold or rented out to any individual or group until there is clearance given by a District Head or his representatives.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Kano secretary to the State government, (SSG), Musa Tanko Muhammad.
Muhammad said the measure is to keep the lives and property of Kano residents safe.
“Government has directed that no house, property or land should be rented out or sold to any individual or group without prior due reference to and clearance by the District Head or his accredited representative”, he stated.
With this measure, the press Secretary said criminals will not be able to look for safe havens in Kano after they have been flushed out of the North-East and parts of the North-West region.
