Not long after the ranking of Kaduna State as the second-best in the country in terms of efficient healthcare delivery, Governor Uba Sani has inaugurated a committee for the distribution of essential drugs and hospital equipment worth billions of naira.
He was represented at the inauguration by the Commissioner for Local Governments, Honorable Sadiq Mamman Lagos.
The distribution will benefit 253 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the 23 local government areas of the State, ensuring that critical medical supplies reach communities in need.
This initiative is the latest in Governor Uba Sani’s on-going efforts to revitalize the healthcare sector.
Stakeholders have recently hailed the governor recently, when his State was ranked as the second-best in Nigeria, behind Lagos, for functional healthcare facilities.
The State’s renewed focus on primary healthcare underscores its commitment to providing accessible and quality medical services to all residents.
Governor Uba Sani ’s administration has continued to prioritise health sector reforms, positioning Kaduna as a model of effective healthcare delivery in Northern Nigeria.
