Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has urged States grappling with security challenges to consider adopting the Kaduna State model, which he said is yielding positive results.

Speaking at the ‘Association of Zamfara State Indigenes Resident in Kaduna’s gathering at the Arewa House banquet hall, the governor, represented by his Special Adviser on Community Engagement, Mohammed Jalal, noting that peace has returned to Birnin-Gwari, a community previously plagued by insecurity, with economic activities now resuming in the area.
Gov. Uba highlighted his administration’s commitment to restoring peace in Kaduna State through non-kinetic approaches.
The Governor attributed the success to the collaborative efforts of the Kaduna State Peace Dialogue Group, federal agencies, and security services, which facilitated the reopening of the strategic Kidandan and Birnin-Gwari Markets, once deserted due to insecurity.
The Governor emphasised that the Kaduna Model is available for any State seeking a tested approach to address insecurity, signaling readiness to share the strategy with others facing similar challenges.
