“I hope all is well” – Atiku sympathises with Tinubu, after falling during Democracy Daycelebration

Former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, has sympathised with President Bola Tinubu after the President slipped at the Eagles Square during the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.

Recall that Tinubu, early yesterday, slipped at the Eagles Square while boarding the parade vehicle.

The President momentarily lost his footing but quickly regained his balance with support from his aide-de-camp (ADC).

The event at Eagles Square was part of a series of events to mark the countrys Democracy Day celebration.

Reacting, Atiku expressed his empathy over the incident, hoping that all is well with the President.

He wrote on X, I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him. – AA.

Similarly, former Kaduna-Central Senator, Shehu Sani, defended President Tinubu saying anyone can fall. He recalled that the United States, US, President, Joe Biden; and former President of Cuba, Fidel Castro, all suffered the same fate. Posting on X, the former lawmaker said anyone can trip and fall.
According to Sani: Not Just President Tinubu, anyone alive can trip and fall; it happened to President Biden and Fidel Castro. Presidents are human beings and mortals.

Meanwhile, Tinubus Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, insisted that there are no issues with the President.

Dada explained that Tinubu only missed his steps.
