Says Its unfair to blame Buhari for all that is wrong with Nigeria
Former interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bisi Akande, has stated that it is unfair to blame President Buhari for the countrys current challenges.
Akande, while speaking on Wednesday at the launching of his autobiography: My Participations, which was held in Lagos said Nigerians accuse President Muhammadu Buhari of being responsible for all that is wrong with the country, when the citizens are also the cause of such problems.
The former APC Chairman, however, said he would not sympathise with the President over the incessant criticism of his administration because he applied for the job.
The former Governor of Osun State, on the lighter side said he and others love Buhari because they wanted Nigeria to be united, peaceful and prosperous.
He said Nigerians accused Buhari because he is their leader even when they knew they were cheats, dishonest, unfaithful and fraudulent.
But we blame you for everything, I dont sympathise with you; you applied for the job, he stated.
He thanked the president for doing a good job and for honouring his invitation.
