The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah said the Kingdom improves its infrastructure every year for ease, comfort and safety of millions of pilgrims who embark on the rituals.
The Minister made this assertion at the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Islamic Affairs organized press conference with media organizations across the globe.
started by emphasizing the significance of umrah and hajj excersises and that Saudi Arabia is trying to make sure that pilgrims perform a seamless excersise.
Al-Rabiah said the aim was to let the whole world know the efforts being put in place to achieve the world class and unbeaten improvements in infrastructure.

The Minister said every year, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia improves infrastructures to avoid traffic and to ease any form of hardship for the pilgrims.
Saudi Arabia he said has also gone digital in information dissemination, use of social media among other innovations. For the physically challenged, the minister said facilities are also provided for their special needs.
The 2023 Hajj is the first major exercise the kingdom is undertaking after the lull following the global covid-19 lockdown with over two million pilgrims from across the globe participating.
