…Says no proof any protester was killed
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has weighed in on the recent #EndSARSMemorial in Lagos State, stating that there was no ‘massacre’ that occurred there.
Mohammed, according to an issued statement, stated that no Massacre occurred at the Lekki Toll Gate last year.
Recall that Soldiers reportedly shot dead several #EndSARS protesters at the toll gate on October 20, 2020.
The Minister adding that it was a ‘Phantom Massacre’.
Mohammed, in the lengthy statement, described such reports as false, insisting that there is no proof that any protester was killed at the Lekki tollgate on that day.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja yesterday, Mohammed described the event at the tollgate as a “phantom massacre”.
