Demands release of detained protesters
The Take-It-Back Movement, (TIB), a human rights and pro-democracy organisation, has called for a solidarity gathering at the Federal High Court in Abuja today, Monday, to demand the immediate release of #EndBadGovernance protesters who are facing charges.

In a statement issued yesterday via their X account, TIB announced that members will occupy the court premises starting at 7am, to show support for the persecuted and illegally detained protesters.
The group extended an invitation to the general public to join the gathering and stand in solidarity with the cause.
The TIB wrote: “Join us as we gather at the Abuja High Court tomorrow at 7 AM to show solidarity and demand the immediate release of persecuted and illegally detained #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters who are facing charges”.
Nigerian activists, Michael Adaramoye, also known as Michael Lenin, who was arrested, for his involvement in the recently concluded 10-day #EndBadGovernance protests is scheduled to be arraigned in court by the Nigerian government on trumped-up charges alongside other activists today, Monday. The TIB Movement, which stated this at the weekend, appealed to Nigerians to show solidarity by attending the court sitting by 9 am.
“Michael Adaramoye, who was arrested on August 5 by the Tinubu administration, has been arraigned in court alongside other activists. Lets support them by attending the court sitting on Monday, 9AM”, the statement added.
