The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended Tourist Visas to Nigerians going to Dubai, and also bars Emirates Airline and travel agents from processing UAE Visas.
Nigerians, who were interviewed, said that the move is discriminatory and called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intervene and apply reciprocal measures it need be.
UAE, after entering the recovery phase of the pandemic, eased some measures on July 7, permitting visitors from various countries to adhere to the necessary precautionary measures, including showing negative PCR test results within 92 hours of travelling to the UAE.
