Musa made the vow while addressing newsmen in Abuja yesterday.

Recall that of recent, Turji has been in the news for allegedly seizing two mine resistant vehicles belonging to the Nigerian Army. However, the military had dismissed Turjis claim, saying that the vehicles were demobilized due to bad terrain. Despite the militarys declaration, Turji had imposed a N30 million levy on the residents of Zamfara State as compensation for the killing of his vows by soldiers.

The Service Chief assured that the issue of levy Turji placed on residents would be addressed when hes captured.

According to Musa, the notorious bandit leader is deranged. He said: On the issue of Turji, he is just a deranged individual who feels power, but I can bet you that its just a matter of time. It is a matter of time; were going to get him, and I can assure you that it will be within the shortest possible time.

Were going to address that issue on the issue of payment of levy (to bandits). That is what they live on. And it shows you the desperation they are in. One, even when they get the money, they dont have a way to use it. Two, is that the money theyre getting, they know is blood money.
