‘Bishop Kukah hiding under camouflage of speaking truth to power – Femi Adesina

The Special Adviser to President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says he believes the bishop of Sokoto Catholic diocese, Bishop Matthew Kukah, may be filled with amnesia for him to have forgotten the state of the nation before President Muhammadu Buhari came to power.

Recall that Kukah had stated that President Buhari was leaving Nigeria far more vulnerable than when he came. He also accused the president of nepotism and failing to fight corruption despite hefty promises made to Nigerians in 2015.

Adesina, who said this in response to comments credited to the Sokoto Catholic diocese Bishop, said the inherent corruption in the country is the fault of every citizen.

However, Adesina, in his response titled: Kukah dont cook me nonsense, said the Bishop has been accused many times of being a political priest with a propensity for PDP and that was possibly the prism from which he saw things.

According to Adesina, President Buhari has stabilised Nigeria, fought corruption, and never breached any Constitution.
