President Bola Tinubu yesterday joined political leaders and dignitaries at the wedding fatiha of children of the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, which was held at the National Mosque, Abuja.

Matawalle, a former governor of Zamfara state, gave out nine of his children in marriage at the ceremony.
Liberty News reports that the ceremony attracted prominent personalities from within and outside Nigeria.
Among the guests was the President of São Tomé & Príncipe, Carlos Vila Nova, who attended alongside Tinubu.
Also, governors present at event included Governors Uba Sani, of Kaduna state, Ahmad Aliyu, of Sokoto, Umar Namadi, of Jigawa, and Nasir Idris of Kebbi.
Other governors at the event included Ahmad Aliyu, of Sokoto state, Umar Namadi, of Jigawa, and Nasir Idris, of Kebbi.
The event was conducted in accordance with Islamic rites, and featured prayers and goodwill messages.
