The Benue branch of the All Progressives Congress’ Youth Development and Solidarity Forum (APC-YDSF) has urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint loyal people as ministers.
President of the group, Chief Tobias Ogbe, gave the advice at a press conference on Friday in Makurdi, adding that Chief Michael Achadu is one of the party’s major backbone in the state and deserves a nomination for ministerial appointment.
According to informed sources, President Tinubu is expected to send names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for confirmation on or before July 28, 2023.
According to the group’s president, Chief Michael Achadu’s nomination would establish the APC as a party that rewards loyalty, dedication, and commitment.
Ogbe stated that their preferred candidate expended personal resources, time, energy, and goodwill to bring the APC to victory not only in the state but throughout the country.
He claimed that some of those vying for appointments around the presidency did little or nothing to help the party reclaim Benue State.
