…Gov. Sani hailed for grassroots leadership, party unity
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has achieved a clean sweep in Southern Kaduna, cementing its dominance across all levels of government in the senatorial district.

According to party officials, the APC now occupies every elective seat in the area — a feat unprecedented in the region’s political history. The ruling party holds the Senatorial seat, all five House of Representatives positions, 9 State Assembly seats, 8 local government chairmanships, and all 87 councillorship positions.
A brief statement from the party yesterday described the outcome as evidence of “complete dominance” and “unified support” for the APC in Southern Kaduna, noting that no other political party currently has any elected representatives in the district.
Party leaders credited the sweeping victory to what they called the “charismatic and people-centred leadership” of Governor Uba Sani, whose administration, they said, has deepened grassroots engagement and fostered trust among diverse communities in the area.
“This success is a reflection of our collective confidence in Governor Uba Sani’s leadership and the APC’s commitment to inclusive governance”, the statement read.
Political observers say the development marks a dramatic shift in Southern Kaduna’s political landscape, long known for its mixed-party representation, and could further consolidate the APC’s hold on Kaduna State ahead of future elections.
