Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has declared that anyone who truly means well for the people of the state must align with the Federal Government led by Bola Tinubu.

The governor, while explaining his decision and that of others to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Kano had “missed a lot” in the past and could not afford further political isolation. “Anyone who means well for the people of Kano should align with the Federal Government, because we have missed a lot”, he stated.
Yusuf also asserted that Kano’s political class is now more united than ever before, noting that since his defection to the APC, more stakeholders have continued to reunite, including previously divided political families.
He made the remarks while receiving members of the Ward and Local Government Congress Committee during a courtesy visit, according to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary.
The governor commended the committee for what he described as a successful conduct of ward and local government congresses across the state.
Earlier, Chairman of the Ward/LGA Congress Committee, Lantep Dabang, praised Yusuf’s leadership style, describing him as a man of integrity and fairness, particularly in the distribution of party positions.
