The former vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, has dismissed the coalition formed by the opposition under the platform of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC).

Baba-Ahmed, who made the remarks yesterday while answering questions during a television programme, maintained that the ADC coalition is deceiving Nigerians.
According to him, “They are deceiving us. Yes, I’m a Labour Party for God’s sake. I still want Peter Obi to come back to the Labour Party and contest for the 2027 election.
“There are more fundamental issues I want to talk about, even this Buhari’s case that I talked about you led me into discussing, I don’t want to. There are more important things,” Datti said, in response to a question on his views about ADC.
The ADC coalition is being championed by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, Nasir el-Rufa’i and Peter Obi.
