…As crowd chants: ‘You’re our next president!’ during Asiwaju’s visit to Kano
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has boasted that despite the challenges in his way ahead of the 2023 presidential election, he is sure of victory in the end.

The APC’s National Leader made this remark of certainty on Saturday, after he visited Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State.
Tinubu said he is confident based on the positive reactions and support he is getting from critical stakeholders and allies, which, according to him, has been encouraging and overwhelming.
The former Lagos governor admitted that life itself is a series of challenges but added that he is ready to face any hurdle and overcome it eventually.
“Life is a challenge and you must be ready to confront challenges and overcome. I have the confidence that I will overcome any form of challenge. I am sure I would face challenges and I have the confidence that I will overcome them.
“The reactions of critical stakeholders to my presidential ambition have been very positive, encouraging and overwhelming and these have spurred me on with the strong conviction that we would succeed and emerge victorious after the election”, he stated.
In a related development, the APC National Leader yesterday visited Kano State to chants and placards by supporters shouting: “Tinubu, you are our next President!”.
The former Lagos governor, who was received by the State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at the Malam Aminu Kano Airport, proceeded to the Late Sheikh Ahmad Ibrahim Bomba’s home, around BUK’s old site, to condole his family.
Similarly, the presidential aspirant visited the Late Alh. Bashir Tofa’s house at Gandun-Albasa, where he described Tofa as a gentleman politician who accepted defeats to M.K.O. Abiola. He described the acceptance of the defeat by Tofa as something worthy of emulation by Nigerian politicians.
Similarly, Tinubu visited the home of the late National President of Council of Shari’ah, Dr. Ibrahim Datti Ahmad, where he offered prayers for the repose of his soul.
