As the politics for 2023 heats up with deft moves by politicians to occupy various offices, President Muhammadu Buhari said he cannot make his most favored likely successor as the president of Nigeria public as he would be eliminated.
Buhari disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Channels television in Asp Rock presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President said he has his most favored candidate to succeed him as the President of Nigeria on the platform of the All Progressive Congres APC, but if he revealed the person’s name, the person would be eliminated.
Buhari however did not say who are those that will eliminate the said person.
Asked what comes to his mind anytime the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP is mentioned, Buhari said “failure”.
The President spoke on varied issues from the economy, to power, transportation, insecurity and energy, asserting that his administration has made a great progress and impact, even though he was not satisfied.
