2023: Atiku closes campaign in Adamawa; vows to deliver buoyant economy to Nigerians

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, yesterday asked residents of Adamawa State to see the forthcoming election as a golden opportunity to elect him as president.

Speaking at the campaign rally, which is the finale for the Party ahead of the presidential election scheduled to hold on February 25, Atiku said he won’t disappoint the people if elected.

At the campaign rally, which witnessed millions of PDP supporters in the State, the former vice-president said he is committed to the five-point agenda in his manifesto, and would ensure that all the promises are kept.

Atiku further asked the residents to re-elect Ahmadu Fintiri, governor of Adamawa, to “continue to advance the progress of our State”.

The PDP Presidential candidate reiterated his commitment to ensuring good governance, quality education, a buoyant economy, and a peaceful country if elected president in the next week’s presidential election, scheduled to hold in the 25th February 2023.

He thanked all Nigerians for a successful campaign rally, noting that everywhere he went he was accepted by thousands of people, saying it is an indication that Nigerians have accepted the PDP.

Atiku charged Adamawa voters not to disappoint Nigerians who have accepted his candidature. He urged them to vote for all PDP candidates for the State Assembly.

Speaking earlier at the campaign, the Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, equally thanked the people of Adamawa for the show of love, asking them to reject the APC, which he said brought on a bad policy of naira redesign.

The Vice-presidential candidate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa said Atiku is the right man to bring hope to the people.

On his part, the Director-General of the Atiku/Okowa campaign and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, who addressed the massive crowd at the rally, criticised Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi saying his presidential ambition is dead and buried.
