Trump’s daughter announces engagement to ‘Nigerian boyfriend’

The youngest daughter of immediate-past US President Trump, Tiffany, on Tuesday  announced that she is engaged to her Nigerian boyfriend, Michael Boulos.

The ex-first daughter posted  the following on her Instagram page:
“It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House; none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé, Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!”. Alongside the post was an image of the couple standing in the White House.

Mr. Boulos also shared the same photo on his own Instagram page, saying: “Got engaged to the love of my life! Looking forward to our next chapter together.” He also commented on his fiancee’s post, writing: “Love you honey.”

The 27 year-old, who is the only child of the former president and his second wife, Marla Maples, graduated from Georgetown University’s law school, while Boulos, 23, is heir to a multibillion-dollar Nigerian conglomerate.

Born in Houston, Texas, Boulos is of Lebanese and French descent. When he was young, Boulos’ family moved to Nigeria, where his family owns a multibillion-dollar conglomerate and a large portfolio of companies in more than 10 West African countries.

His father, Dr. Massad Boulos, oversees the companies, and his mother, Sarah Boulos, is the founder of the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria, (SPAN).

After growing up in Lagos, Boulos attended college in London, the city where the pair were first photographed together in January 2018.
