The All Progressives Congress (APC) has saidit is unfazed by the press conference addressed by former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar yesterday.

According to an issued press statement yesterday, signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Esq.,
The Party dismissed the press conference, describing it as lacking substance and filled with falsehoods. It said, “The press conference lacked purpose and delivered nothing except the pitiful regurgitation of lies, mindless distortions and deliberate falsehood on his infantile obsession with the academic record of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
The APC accused Atiku of a desperate attempt to tarnish the reputation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the institution of the Presidency.
The Party expressed strong disapproval of Atiku’s decision to discuss matters under Supreme Court adjudication publicly. It highlighted Atiku’s longstanding animosity towards Tinubu, whom he blames for his electoral losses in previous elections.
Furthermore, the APC criticized Atiku for his recent trip to the United States, characterizing it as an attempt to gain foreign support for his presidential ambitions. They labeled Atiku as Nigeria’s “most prolific election loser” and condemned his actions for negatively exposing Nigeria on the international stage.
The statement sought to clarify the authenticity of President Bola Tinubu’s academic credentials, referencing a deposition by the Registrar of Chicago State University, Caleb Westberg, who affirmed that Tinubu graduated with honors from the university. Westberg’s deposition also clarified various aspects related to Tinubu’s education and certificates.
The APC concluded by urging Atiku to accept his defeat gracefully and respect the will of Nigerian voters who chose President Tinubu to lead the nation.
They emphasized Tinubu’s commitment to improving the country’s economy, security, job creation, infrastructure, and the living conditions of the citizens.
