A section of the World Trade Centre building located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was on Monday gutted by fire. Constructed in 2011, the building is the tallest residential and commercial building in the city. The fire started at about 11:30 am as smoke was seen billowing from the 25 storey hi-tech building. The fire prompted the deployment of federal and FCT firefighters to the scene.
