The Federal Government has confirmed President Muhammadu Buharis approval of salary increment for teachers across the nation. Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba announced that teachers will begin to enjoy increased pay from January 2022. The official made the disclosure on Thursday in Abuja at a symposium organised by the Ministry of Education. The event was part of activities to mark the forthcoming 2021 World Teachers Day.
