Again South Africa court postpones Zuma corruption trial to Sept. 9

A South African court on Tuesday postponed a long-delayed corruption trial against former president Jacob Zuma to Sept. 9, following his hospitalisation. High Court Judge Piet Koen granted the postponement and also ordered Zumas team to produce a medical report by Aug. 20, and for the state to appoint a medical doctor to assess whether Zuma was fit to stand trial. Covid-19: FG bans travellers from South Africa

The Presidential Steering Committee, (PSC) on the Covid-19 pandemic has added South Africa to the list of countries from where travellers are banned because of the rampant rising cases in the country. A South African woman has given birth to 10 babies, otherwise called nonuplets, breaking the World Record held by Malian woman, Halima Cisse, who gave birth to nine children in Morocco in May. Again, South Africa begins deportation of African migrants after protests

South African authorities say they have begun deporting 20 refugees and asylum seekers who were part of a months-long sit-in protest against xenophobia. According to reports, the asylum seekers were mostly from African countries and were demanding to be resettled outside South Africa.
