Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, (SERAP), has filed a lawsuit against President Bola Tinubu over “the failure to probe the grim allegations that $3.4 billion loan obtained by Nigeria from the International Monetary Fund to finance the Budget and respond to Covid-19 is missing, diverted or unaccounted for”. The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has demanded that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) must immediately give an account of the N1.054 billion it reportedly paid to an Israeli-based company in 2010 for purchase of a new aircraft, which was allegedly never delivered to the agency.
