Gunmen abduct 11 passengers after attack on another Benue Links vehicle

Gunmen on Sunday night attacked a Benue Links passenger bus and abducted at least 11 persons, multiple sources said on Monday. The driver of the vehicle and four passengers were however said to have escaped after the attack which occurred at about 10pm along Ogbokolo-Otukpa road in Okpokpwu Local Government Area of Benue. A competent source said that the kidnappers had initially demanded for N60 million, but came down to N16 million as ransom to release the passengers. Train attack: NRC confirms 14 more safe passengers on board

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed the safety of 14 more passengers on board the attacked Abuja-Kaduna train of March 28, bringing the total safe passengers to 186. Fatal Auto crash claims 17 lives in Yobe

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Monday confirmed the death 17 persons and injury of four others in road traffic accident at Zubali village along Kano to Potiskum  road.
