The Federal Government says it has approved the extension of the deadline for NIN-SIM data verification to July 26. The Federal Government has extended the deadline for linking Subscriber Identification Modules (SIMs) with valid National Identity Numbers (NIN) by one month. This was contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Kayode Adegoke. A Federal High Court in Lagos State has barred the Federal Government from blocking Subscriber Identification Module, (SIM), cards not linked to National Identity Numbers, (NINs), next month.
