Telecommunication companies in the country have been directed by the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC), to suspend the sales and reactivation of new SIM cards. Internet users in Nigeria hit 149.8 million in August NCC

Active internet subscribers of mobile services, fixed wire and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) increased by 1.8 per cent to 149.8 million in August 2020 from 147.1 million in the previous month, the latest monthly industry statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) shows. NCC warns against illegal use of GSM boosters

The Nigerian Communication Commission has warned telecom consumers to desist from using illegal GSM boosters. The commission published this on its website on Tuesday.
