Elects 11 Executive Council members Eleven Executive Council members of the Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association (NBMOA) were elected at the associations annual general meeting, (AGM). According to a press statement issued by the associations Publicity Secretary, Rabiu Ibrahim, the AGM held yesterday at the Board Room of the Corporate Headquarters of Atar Communications Nigeria Ltd, (owners of liberty TV and FM radios). Broadcast Code: NBMOA urges NBC board to submit to ministerial inputs

The Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association (NBMOA) has called on the Chairman and Board of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to submit to the inputs by the Federal Ministry of Information in respect of the controversial 6th amendment of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code (NB Code) and work with all stakeholders to further review the grey areas in the Code in no distant future.
