The safety of Nigeria’s skies is hanging in the balance as the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) warns that the nation’s total radar coverage system is nearing total collapse. ₦11,000 flight charge no longer feasible, says NAMA DG

The Director-General of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, (NAMA), Umar Farouk, has said that the ₦11,000 charged by airline operators in the country per flight is no longer feasible given the current economic realities.
