The medical doctor behind the controversial medical report submitted in support of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufa’i’s bail application has admitted writing the document but denied forging or falsifying any records. Dr. Bello Abubakar, an oncologist, made the disclosure in a statement to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), insisting he prepared the report in his professional capacity and was not part of any scheme to mislead the court.
