Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved 21 yearsz jail term for convicted cultist, as he signed the state’s anti-cultism bill into law yesterday. Commuters stranded as commercial bus drivers protest on Lagos-Badagry expressway

Commuters were yesterday stranded along the Lagos-Badagry expressway as drivers of commercial buses, popularly known as ‘Danfo’, protested alleged extortion and constant manhandling by louts. According to reports, no commercial shuttle was seen plying the roads while several commuters were spotted trekking. Lagos: LASTMA to use body cameras to monitor traffic violators

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has said its officials would begin to use body cameras to monitor traffic violations and other incidents on roads across the State. The General Manager, Olajide Oduyoye, disclosed this while featuring on a television programme yesterday, said the agency would commence a “non-approachable offence dealings” in the next few weeks. The Police in Lagos yesterday charged several  protesters arrested at the Lekki tollgate to court for breaching public peace.
