Gunmen have kidnapped the Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Sama’ila Bagudu, in his hometown, Bagudu, headquarters of Bagudu local government area. The armed men reportedly invaded the town late Friday, shooting sporadically to scare residents before abducting the lawmaker.
