Barely two days after an attack on Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, Kaduna state, unknown gunmen have again attacked Kofar-Gayan and Kofar-Kona areas of Zaria and abducted some residents. The Kaduna State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, who confirmed the incident, said he was trying to gather details to update the Press. Details have emerged as to how the Nigerian government released a notorious kidnapper in exchange for the freedom of the last batch of 27 students of Federal College of Forestry, Afaka, abducted on March 11.
