The Supreme Court, yesterday, reserved judgment in the appeal seeking to nullify the election of Governor Uba Sani, of Kaduna State. A five-member panel of Justices of the apex court, led by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, reserved judgment to a date that would be communicated to the parties, after they adopted all their briefs filed in the matter. Kaduna: Appeal Court affirms Uba Sani’s election as Governor

The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has declared Governor Uba Sani, of Kaduna State, as validly elected governor during the March 18 election. The appellate court affirmed the judgement of the State Election Petitions Tribunal, which earlier dismissed the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Isa Ashiru, against the election of Governor Sani. The Kaduna State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal was yesterday informed that the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), is yet to produce the certified copies of the March 18th governorship result sheets in which Uba Sani was declared the winner.
