COVID-19 infections have continued to rise globally for more than a month now, with over four million cases reported in the past week alone, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 343 new infections of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the country. The NCDC made this known via its verified website. The agency also reported two additional COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 1,179.
