No fewer than 22,074 suspicious personnel have been identified on the Federal Government’s payroll by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC). It was learnt that the personnel were found across various Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs) and tertiary institutions. According to reports, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) was allegedly the most implicated. The total financial impact of these 12,174 personnel was estimated at N34,808,740,634.37.
